Parents are encouraged to become actively and positively involved in each of the service areas of Head Start, including policy and governance issues. Such experiences may prepare parents for employment in the child care field.

Parents who have experiences in the Head Start program may raise their own self-confidence and improve their ability to make decisions.

Lincoln County Head Start welcomes the involvement and participation of parents in all of the activities, including classrooms, and will work as partners with parents to ensure that each child succeeds.
