Instructions for fixing the
Popup Blocker issue with WEBMAIL

Windows XP has a popup blocker built in to keep popup ads from hitting your system which may keep you from initially getting into Webmail. These instructions help allow you to view your webmail without letting other popups on your machine. If you have a different popup blocker and can open the new webmail, please submit a help request.

1.
If your machine doesn't allow for popups from our webmail site then the popup blocker will come up after you click the login button on the login screen for webmail.
2.
The first warning may look like this:
3.
Click ok and then look up towards the top of the webpage at this area:

4.
Any time you get a pop up from site you don't know yet, this yellow message bar will appear just below the web address.
5.
Click on the yellow message bar and select the second option "Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site..."
This will only allow the popup window for Webmail to popup on your computer. Other popups will still be blocked. See below:

6.
A window may appear asking if you want to allow this popup window on your system, click Yes or OK. This window not come up again when you login in the future.
7. A final window will come up asking to retry the login. Now that you've changed your settings, click on retry. This window will also not come up again in the future.
8.

The Internet Explorer window will retry the attempt to login to the system and the popup window that will contain your webmail session will now come. You will not have to do this popup blocker again on the machine you normally use. Anytime you move to a different PC with XP (maybe at home) you may have to repeat this process for that machine as well.

Again, if you have any questions about this process or any other questions about the email system, please email Tim or submit a help request.

Questions so far or Frequently asked Questions (FAQs)

Here are some questions we've received:

1.
If I am using Outlook (or Outlook Express) will I have to redo all my addresses in my addressbook?
NO. All of our address will stay the same and when we adjust the Outlook properties we will not change anything on the address book.

2.
Can I use either Outlook or the webmail online version?
YES. Both will still be available if needed. However, for many (not all) the online version will be the best option and the easiest to use.

3.
Can I print a message in webmail?
YES. Both versions (simple and advanced) have print icons on the page that should be used to print messages. With the advanced, a second window will pop up. If you right click or just use the Internet Explorer print button, you may get a blank page.
